Admission process in GST clustered universities for academic year 2023-24

Eligibility to apply to participate in the entrance test:
2019, 2020 & 2021 SSC/Equivalent and 2022 & 2023 HSC/Equivalent, Diploma-in-Commerce, HSC (Vocational), A Level and other equivalent examinations (with approval by Equivalence Committee) under Bangladesh Technical Education Board only. Can apply for admission test. Students who have passed HSC/equivalent examination from science, humanities and commerce streams can apply for Unit A, Unit B and Unit C respectively subject to prescribed eligibility. Unit wise application eligibility is as follows:
- Unit A: Applicants who have passed HSC/Equivalent examination from Science stream should have aggregate GPA of at least 8.00 with minimum GPA of 3.50 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination (including 4th subject). Madrasa Board (Science) and Vocational (HSC) along with Science Branch of General Education Board will be considered as Science Branch.
- Unit B: Applicants who have passed HSC/Equivalent examination from Humanities stream should have aggregate GPA of at least 6.00 with minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examinations (including 4th subject). Music, Home Economics and Madrasah Board (General, Mujabbid) along with Humanities of General Education Board will be considered as Humanities.
- Unit C: Applicants who have passed HSC/Equivalent examination from Commerce stream should have aggregate GPA of at least 6.50 with minimum GPA of 3.00 in both SSC/Equivalent and HSC/Equivalent examination (including 4th subject). Diploma in Business Studies, Business Management (HSC) and Diploma in Commerce along with commerce stream of General Education Board will be considered as commerce stream.
- In case of GCE, IGCSE (O level) examination should have pass in 5 subjects with B grade in at least 3 subjects and IAL (A level) examination in 3 subjects with B grade in at least 2 subjects. In this case, the application should be approved by the Eligibility and Eligibility Committee after applying online along with uploading the combination mark sheet.

- 300×300 pixels size clear (Studio Quality) colored jpg format photo (size not more than 100KB) with white background should be uploaded.
- Photos in school/college uniform will not be accepted. The photograph should have both ears of the candidate open and two-thirds of the height of the photograph should be of the candidate’s face. However, any photo effected with the help of software will not be acceptable.
- Photographs of applicants collected at various stages will be used for biometric verification. If any inconsistency is observed in the verification process, the applicant’s application will be rejected.
Selfie guide
- The selfie must be taken in a well-lit location and the candidate’s face and ears should be exposed.
- The photo provided through selfie will be used later for biometric verification of the applicant.
24 GST Cluster Universities 2023-24 Academic Year 2023-24 Undergraduate First Year Admission Test Schedule and Application Dates Announced. The decision was taken at the first meeting of the Integrated Admission Committee of GST Cluster Universities at the University Grants Commission (UGC) conference room on Sunday (January 21) afternoon.
According to the decision of the meeting, students can apply from January 29 to February 15. As before, students can apply by paying an application fee of 1500 rupees.
As per the schedule, the admission test will start from March 8. C Unit (Commerce) Admission test will be held on this day. After that, the meeting decided about the Admission test for B Unit (Humanities) on March 9 and A Unit (Science) on April 27. All exams will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM. It has been decided to complete all Admission processes by June 30.
